Inspired by Peer Gynt by Henrik Ibsen
Peek Chuun lives with his mother. Rejected by the town, Peek drifts between reality, his mythomania, and his delusions of grandeur, until he meets Sandra and they build a house together. But his guilt does not leave him in peace. After his mother’s death, Peek flees across the world, sinking deeper and deeper into his fantasies, until one of them brings him back home. There, at last, Peek and Sandra recognize each other.
Against the backdrop of the irreverent and amoral adventures of a Mexican man, an illegitimate child of the 20th century, the play traces the invisible story of a woman: the one who stays behind.
